Dharmendra Sheth
Dr. Dharmendra Sheth is an engineer turned teacher, with more than two decades of experience in English language teaching and research. Apart from an engineering qualification, he has an MA in English, a PhD in English and a TESOL certificate from Wisconsin University, US. He is an author, corporate trainer, and blogger. He has been writing blogs since 2008. He has translated and edited numerous books. Two of his books are published by Cambridge University Press under a series titled Monsoon. He has written and edited website content, advertisement copies and various types of written documents. He has prepared thousands of learners for various language examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL and BEC. He has also taught at several colleges and universities that include Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. As a corporate trainer, he has trained employees of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), ESSAR, Vodafone, NJ Indialnvest, Luthra Dyeing and Printing, Adani Port and Eliochem (Omnova Industries). He has presented research papers at various regional, national, and international conferences and seminars. As a teacher trainer, he has conducted numerous workshops and organised many seminars and conferences at various places in the country. He has also been instrumental in creating and consolidating networks of English Language Teaching (ELT) professionals and practitioners within the state and the nation. He worked as National Vice President, English Language Teachers' Association of India (ELT@I) for five years. Currently, he runs his own language training and consultancy firm Fluentlingua. He has been a member of the Advisory Board for English and foreign language institutes of Symbiosis, Pune, for two terms now.
